All tastes can now be catered for locally and a comprehensive selection of shops are now available in Monchique. A trip to the market in Portimao or the large supermarket at Silves is worthwhile however, especially if you want to try the best the Algarve has to offer in local fish & fruit.
There is also an information file in the house, which should answer any queries about the house and surrounding area, including details of suggested menus for Maria to prepare and recommended food and drink available locally. |
